Do you know the difference between a headshot photography session and a personal branding photography session?
While the terminology can often get confusing the best way to assess your needs is to know what you want from your photography session.
So what's the difference?
A Headshot photography session
A headshot photography session is usually a quick session with the goal being to get you an image or 2, usually head and shoulders, for you to use as a profile picture, on your website and maybe on your business or marketing materials. These sessions are great for teams that need a consistent look or individuals that just need an up-to-date image and don't have a lot of time. The purpose of a headshot image is to let people know what you look like.
A Personal Branding photography session
A personal branding photography session is different. Personal branding sessions can last anywhere from 1 hour to a full day to create several images for your marketing needs. We create stories about your lifestyle and your business that will engage your audience and show them what you do and who you are. Often this means we go to different locations, have changes of clothing and you are doing different things that pertain to what's important to you and your business. These images are utilized in many different ways from your website to brochures, social media, books or banners. It's creating content that is exclusively for you and your company. These images go beyond a pretty picture and tell your story to help your clients identify you and your brand and what you stand for!
I hope this has helped to distinguish the difference and I'd love to help you no matter what your need! Let's chat!
