About

Show Up With Confidence.

Be Seen as the Expert You Already Are.

You do not need to become someone else to look powerful on camera. You just need brand images that reflect the real, confident, natural you.

Your clients want connection. They want to see the face behind the business.
If your photos don’t show that, you are blending in with everyone else, and your business deserves better.

My brand photography sessions are designed to help you look confident, approachable, and credible, even if you are usually camera-shy. With guided posing, natural lighting, and a relaxed experience, you will walk away with images you are proud to share everywhere.

The person behind the lens

Meet Jenn

For 19 years, I’ve been helping women entrepreneurs and business owners feel confident on camera, including the ones who swear they’re “not photogenic.” I understand how vulnerable it can feel to step in front of the lens, and my job is to make that experience not just easier, but empowering.

I hold a Bachelor of Applied Arts in Photography, and I’m constantly studying branding, visual psychology, and the subtle elements that make an image truly connect. My approach blends technical expertise with a deep understanding of what women need to feel comfortable, guided, and fully supported.

My specialty is creating branding photos and professional headshots that feel natural, modern, and unmistakably you, the kind of images that elevate your authority and attract the clients you actually want.

If you’re ready to show up online with confidence and visuals that match the quality of your work, you’re in the right place.

Let’s create images you love.

The backstory

A bit more about how I got here

I didn’t start out photographing entrepreneurs. Like a lot of photographers, I spent years shooting everything: events, families, products, you name it. But somewhere along the way, I noticed the sessions I loved most were the ones where someone walked in nervous and walked out standing a little taller, genuinely excited about how they looked.

That’s when I started focusing on brand photography and headshots specifically, and on women entrepreneurs in particular. I’d watch so many talented business owners stuck using outdated photos, awkward selfies, or images that just didn’t match who they’d become. I wanted to fix that.

Now, almost two decades in, that’s still what gets me excited about this work. Not the gear, not the lighting setups (though I do love a good lighting setup), but the moment someone sees their photos for the first time and says, “okay, that’s actually me.”

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s the difference between a professional headshot and personal branding photography?2026-08-11T18:17:46+00:00

A professional headshot is a clean, polished portrait typically used for LinkedIn, websites, and business profiles.

Personal branding photography goes deeper—it captures your personality, your process, and the story behind your business. These branding photos help women entrepreneurs and small business owners show up with confidence and create a consistent visual presence online.

I’m not comfortable in front of the camera. Can you help me feel confident?2026-08-11T18:18:19+00:00

Yes—this is one of the biggest reasons women hire me. My brand photography sessions are designed for women who don’t feel photogenic. I guide you through natural posing, expression, and movement so you look relaxed, confident, and authentic on camera. You never need to know what to do—I coach you through every step.

How do I know what type of branding photos my business needs?2026-08-11T18:18:33+00:00

During your planning call, we look at your industry, audience, website layout, and marketing goals. From there, I create a customized shot list that includes lifestyle images, working photos, personality shots, and updated headshots—everything your brand needs for social media, website updates, and business visibility.

What should I wear for my headshots or brand photography session?2026-08-11T18:18:51+00:00

Wear clothing that reflects your brand and makes you feel confident. Solid colours, layers, and flattering necklines photograph well. During our planning session, I help you choose outfits that align with your brand colours and the message you want your visuals to communicate.

Do you include professional makeup and hair for branding sessions?2026-08-11T18:19:10+00:00

Yes. Every branding photography, and headshot session includes natural, camera-ready makeup and light hairstyling. This ensures you look polished, fresh, and consistent across all your photos—without feeling overdone.

What if I’m worried I won’t like how I look in the photos?2026-08-11T18:19:27+00:00

This is completely normal, especially for women who haven’t updated their photos in years. My approach focuses on flattering angles, natural lighting, and gentle direction so you can see yourself in a new way. My process also ensures that you are happy before you leave your session.

How many images do I get, and how does the selection process work?2026-08-11T18:19:43+00:00

I offer images individually and in collections. With my per-image model, you only purchase the images you absolutely love. After your brand or headshot session, we review the photos together so you can choose your favourites with expert guidance.

How long does it take to receive my edited branding photos?2026-08-11T18:20:02+00:00

Depending on the number of images selected, you should receive your fully edited selections within 7 business days. If you have a launch, event, or website deadline, rush delivery is often available.

Can I bring my kids, partner, dog, or team members to my branding session?2026-08-11T18:20:22+00:00

Yes. Many women entrepreneurs love adding a personal touch to their branding photos. During our planning call, we can discuss how they fit in to the flow and timing of your session.

Where do your branding and headshot sessions take place?2026-08-11T18:20:41+00:00

Headshot sessions usually take place in my Burlington studio.

Brand sessions can take place in my studio, at your workplace, outdoors, or a combination of these, depending on your brand aesthetic. Location styling is part of the planning process to ensure your images match your brand message.

How often should I update my branding photos or headshots?2026-08-11T18:20:59+00:00

Most business owners update their brand photography every 1–2 years, or sooner if they’ve rebranded, changed their look, their business has evolved, or want more variety for ongoing social media and marketing content.

Award-winning work

Professional Competition Awards

My work has been recognized in professional photography competitions through the Professional Photographers of Canada (PPOC), an organization that sets the standard for technical and artistic excellence in portrait and commercial photography across the country. Having images recognized at this level isn’t just a nice credential, it reflects the same attention to detail, lighting, and composition that goes into every client session, competition or not.
